This distinctive variety has an angular shaped fruit and a particularly large and unusually beautiful pink blossom.

Something of a dual purpose fruit, it eats well and is a good culinary apple. Picking time is in October and it will store until December. It was introduced by the F P Mathews Nursery of Tenbury Wells about 20 years ago, having been obtained from a Geoffrey Knight (a descendant of Thomas Andrew Knight) who lived in Colwall.

There are believed to be 28 varieties of Worcestershire apple
